The Race Team
Edison2 comes from racing. Founder Oliver Kuttner has been an active member of the motor sports community for over 20 years and his core team has over 20 victories at Le Mans, Sebring and Daytona. This racing experience was essential to the Edison2’s X Prize success and continues to influence the development of the Very Light Car.

How did you become involved? I worked closely with Ron Mathis in the 1980’s for ADA engineering. We kept in touch over the years as we both continued in racing. Ron called me and got me interested in Edison2.

How did you become involved? I worked with Ron Mathis at Audi North America and he recommended me to Oliver.

Role on team: Fabricator
How did you become involved? Kevin Doran (Doran Racing) recommended me to Oliver.

How did you become involved? I had worked on a number of projects that Oliver had been involved with and knew a number of the other team members when Oliver asked me to join.

How did you become involved? I've been working for Oliver in a variety of capacities for a number of years, and when he became involved in the X Prize, he offered me a position on the race team.
